BTS member Jungkook has been pretty active on Weverse recently. After deactivating his Instagram account, the maknae of BTS made sure to go live on Weverse on March 2 (IST). He played his favourite playlist as always and was seen vibing with fans on live. During the live, ARMYs (fans) were left thrilled after Jungkook played RRR’s Naatu Naatu unexpectedly. For those unaware, RRR Movie’s Naatu Naatu has been nominated for Oscars 2023 in the Best Original Song category. Jungkook playing the song on Weverse live is seen as a win by Indian fans. He asked, “do you guys know this song? this is from a recent movie called RRR!” One of the users wrote, “OMG OMG JUNGKOOK VIBING TO NATTU NATTU HE SAID HE WATCHED RRR THE FVCK?” Another added, “ We Desimys won today God.”
He wasn’t just listening to the song. One could see Jungkook was even enjoying the lyrics and low-key fans are convinced that he already knows the hook step to the song.
A clip of Jungkook grooving to Naatu Naatu was also shared by the RRR team on social media with the caption, “JUNGKOOK… It’s amazing to know that you loved Naatu Naatu so much. Meanwhile, The Academy already announced that Naatu Naatu singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava will perform the popular song at Oscars 2023. Earlier on Wednesday, the Academy shared the news on their Instagram handle. While, Ram Charan admitted it would be difficult to perform the whole song live but he is all for doing the hook step if given the chance.
