Janhvi Kapoor has got a special tattoo on her arm. It is a tattoo of a handwritten note by her late mom and actress Sridevi that reads, “I love you my labbu. You are the best baby in the world.”
In a video shared by the Dhadak star, a masked Janhvi Kapoor can be seen in a white and blue shalwar kameez. Getting the tattoo on her forearm, the actress was also chanting “Govinda Govinda” while bearing the pain and squinting her eyes from time to time. Sridevi was pronounced dead on 24 February 2018 at 19:00 in her hotel room where her husband, Boney Kapoor had found her. At first, it was announced by her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor to the Indian media that the cause of death was a cardiac arrest, but the investigation to her revealed that the cause of death was “accidental drowning”. The toxicology report later also revealed that traces of alcohol were found in her body, and water was found in her lungs. After a few days of a police investigation, Sridevi’s case was closed, and her body was flown back to Mumbai, India. The late star leaves behind Boney Kapoor and daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
On the work front, Janhvi made her Bollywood debut weeks after her mother’s demise. She starred in Karan Johar’s film ‘Dhadak’ alongside Ishaan Khatter. Recently, she was seen opposite Rajkummar Rao in the horror-comedy film ‘Roohi’. Janhvi has Karan Johar-directed Takht, Good Luck Jerry and Dharma Productions’ Dostana 2 lined up.
