With the generation leap in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, the show faced decline in TRP, Shakti Arora has now opened up about the same.

The popular television drama series, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, has been a favorite among Indian audiences for its engaging storyline and talented cast. However, the show witnessed a significant change with a generation leap that brought in new characters and a shift in the narrative. The show originally led by Ayesha Singh, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma, recently took a major generation leap and is now headline by Shakti Arora, Bhavika Sharma, and Sumit Singh.
The show’s story after leap is having a slight resemblance with Marathi show ‘Swabhimaan’. Post this leap, there has been some concern regarding the show’s TRP (Television Rating Points), with some decline observed. In a candid conversation with Pinkvilla, the show’s lead actor, Ishaan, also known as Shakti Arora, addressed the issue and shared his thoughts on the show’s performance and the audience’s response. Shakti Arora On Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin TRP Drop
Now, in an interview, Shakti Arora clarified that the TRP has not significantly dropped but has remained between 2 and 2.4, experiencing fluctuations within that range. He also pointed out that it’s quite common for shows to experience ups and downs in TRP, and a single-digit TRP can be concerning for the long-term sustainability of a TV series. “The TRP has not dropped; it has always been between 2 and 2.4 and is fluctuating between those. A show cannot go on a single-digit TRP; it will always keep fluctuating. ” he said.
Shakti Arora expressed his gratitude for the audience’s support and asserted that they would strive to make the show even more appealing and engaging for its loyal fanbase. “It will take time for the audience to accept it, but we will make sure to win the audience’s hearts. We need time to build the story, and by doing good work, we get appreciation from the audience.” he further added.
