The aspiring actor responded to one user, who asked him about his religion. He shared a screenshot of the comment and his response to it.
The Instagram user dropped a comment that read, “Brother are you a Muslim?” Babil replied by writing “@sahil_insta69 I don’t belong to any religion.”
Khan also shared a note while posting the screenshot on his Insta story. He wrote, “I’ve read the Bible, Bhagvad Gita, Quran and I’m in the middle of reading Guru Granth Sahib. I am for all. How we help each other evolve is the basis of all religions.”
Last year as well, he had taken to Instagram to tell people that he is a “human being” and did not want to be judged on the basis of his religion. “I don’t want to be judged by my religion. I am not my religion, l am a human being, just like the rest of the population of India,” he had written.
Babil is all set to make his acting debut with Anvitaa Dutt’s Qala. He will also star in a film by Shoojit Sircar.
