Arjun Kapoor & Anshula Kapoor Raise Rs 1 crore with #FanKindXArjun

Arjun Kapoor recently opened about raising funds along side his sister Anshula Kapoor. He told Mid-Day that the siblings have raised Rs 1 crore through Fankind. Fankind is, “a fundraising platform that rings fans, celebrities and charities to make magical once-in-a-lifetime experiences and happy memories, that employment towards the greater good.”

This platform was created by Anshula Kapoor. they have donated the quantity which has reportedly helped 30,000 people across India.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas set up Covid-19 fundraiser

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas made a moving plea and raised awareness about the on-going health crisis in India. They also announced that they have found out a fundraiser with GiveIndia which is a corporation providing Covid-19 relief.

Twinkle Khanna also announced the donation of 100 oxygen concentrators, along side 120 donated by Dr Drashnika Patel & Dr Govind Bankani of London Elite Health. she has managed to assemble 250 units of oxygen concentrator machines and 5,000 nasal cannulas, reading for shipping to India.

Sonu Sood is one among the few actors that are at the forefront in helping those in need during the pandemic. He has received tons of goodwill from his generous gestures during the first lockdown.

Now during the second wave, he has helped source oxygen cylinders, arranged medicines, and plasma for patients.

Ajay Devgn has joined hands with the BMC to set up an emergency COVID-19 facility in Shivaji Park to take care of the patients. The likes of Anand Pandit, Luv Ranjan, Sameer Nair, Boney Kapoor have contributed a total of Rs 1 crore to BMC’s business development cell, ‘Smiley Account’.
