Anupama’s latest episodes have been so emotional as Gaurav Khanna, who plays Anuj Kapadia hints at leaving the show. Gaurav has been a fan favorite ever since he joined Rajan Shahi’s show. Fans love the onscreen chemistry of him and Anupama aka Rupali Ganguly. But for the last few days, the news of Gaurav Khanna leaving the show is in the headlines. Now the actor himself has broken the silence regarding this.
Gaurav Khanna Not Quitting Anupama
Gaurav talked about it during a recent interview with E-Times and shared, “I will just say that I am completely dedicated to Anupama and I have full trust in Rajan Shahi’s version of Anuj. I am fully committed to the show.”
When asked about the screen time being reduced, he replied, “When the character was narrated to me, I knew this character was going to be different from what audiences have been watching on TV so far. That’s why Anuj Kapadia’s role became so dear to people. I have been in the industry for a long time and I feel this show is different and I am lucky to be part of it. Talking about joining the show midway and his experience with the show so far, the actor shared, “It is generally difficult to enter a show which is ongoing and people are loving it already. All the other characters were being loved a lot. But people gave similar love to Anuj as well. I wasn’t expecting it and I am thankful for it.”
Anupama Upcoming Twist: New Promo
A few days ago, Anupama’s latest promo was telecasted where Anuj Kapadia was seen lying on the hospital bed in coma. Anupama, on the other hand, struggled with the Kapadias and Shahs alone. In the promo, we also saw Anupama talking about how her own people disowning her specially Pakhi. Later, Vanraj and Baa also asked Anupama to leave the Shah house.
