The makers of the Upcoming Dark Romantic Thriller ‘Freddy’ are reportedly planning Alaya F to star opposite Kartik Aaryan.
Kartik Aaryan has once again left his fans excited as he recently shared a post on social media to celebrate his return to the sets of a film after 5 months. The actor reportedly returned to the sets to kick off shooting for his upcoming Dark Romantic Thriller Freddy.
Freddy has been the talk of the town for a while, and now, as Kartik has reportedly started shooting for it, a new report claims that Alaya F may have been roped in as his leading lady.
According to Etimes, Alaya was apparently in talks with makers from day 1 for the film opposite Kartik. As per the report, the rising star may soon sign the dotted line and join Kartik on the sets of the film. The report also claimed that a couple of other names were in question but Alaya has raced ahead among them. The makers were pretty sure about Alaya Furniturewala to feature in this thriller and the actress has a meaty role in it. Now Kartik and Alaya’s pairing will be one hot Jodi on screen..
Freddy will star Kartik in the lead and is being helmed by Veere Di Wedding director Shashanka Ghosh. The film is being backed by Ekta Kapoor, Jay Shewakramani. Earlier, Pinkvilla had informed you first that Kartik was all set to kick off the shoot in August 2021.
Just recently, Alaya had said in an interview that she would love to go on a date with Kartik Aaryan, since every newbie is linked to him or dating him, so she wanted to know what’s it about the actor. Looks like, Alaya now has an entire film to get to know Kartik Aaryan.
This is going to be Alaya’s second project with Ekta Kapoor. She’s currently shooting for U Turn, which is a remake of a South film of the same name and is produced by Ekta. Kartik on the other hand has started the shoot for Freddy and will take a break in between to wrap up shoot for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
