Farhan Akhtar is one celeb who isn’t scared of speaking his mind on social media. Recently, he shared a tweet about the very fact that the worth of the vaccine in India is one of the highest in the world The actor even questioned the pharmaceutical companies for an equivalent.
The Bhaag Milkha Bhaag actor shared the news about government asking Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech to lower price of Covid vaccines as India gears up to inoculate all aged above 18. Celebrating the move, Akhtar addressed the trolls and said that now he hopes they will “swamp their TL with the lectures on economics you’ve been giving me.”
Farhan Akhtar had tweeted, “After saying that you were making profit even at 150/vaccine, we will now be asked to pay the most of any country for it. Please explain why @SerumInstIndia”
He was targetted online for his tweet and therefore the actor decided to hit back with a media report during which the govt has asked Serum Institute, Bharat Biotech to lower the worth of COVID vaccines.
The actor tweeted, “Oh look my dear trolls. Govt asking to lower price of vaccine as well. Hope you’ll swamp their TL with the lectures on economics you’ve been giving me. Until then mask up, stay home and wash your mouths.. I mean hands!!”
