Former Imlie actor Fahmaan Khan talks about his views on reality shows and reveals why he considers himself unfit for Bigg Boss.
Actor Fahmaan Khan is one of the most popular name in the Indian television world. He rose to fame with Star Plus show Imlie for his character Aryan Singh Rathore. The show made him a household name and now the actor is all set to win hearts with his another show which will soon air on Colors Tv. Fahmaan’s tv career is incomplete without actress Sumbul Touqeer Khan. The two make a sensational on-screen couple and their last show is the witness. The two quit ‘Imlie’ when it was peak of it’s popularity, though Sumbul chose to do Bigg Boss 16, Fahmaan rejected it and prefer to do more in the fiction.
Many fans were upset on him not choosing BB16 as they were excited to see the two having the blast in the BB house. Fahmaan, has time and again revealed that he wanted himself to indulge more in acting than any reality show so he rejected BB. Talking about turning down BB, Fahmaan shares, “I have always focused on my work as an actor. I enjoy facing the camera, portraying different characters, and showing the emotions of those characters. Besides, I am not a very emotional person. I don’t express myself too much. As a character, I can do whatever I am expected to do, including the liberty to express myself.” he told ETimes Tv.
Fahmaan gives another reason for not doing BB, “What happens with me is that if I get embroiled in a tiff with somebody, I can’t be pally with that person again. So, I usually ignore and let go or I will never talk to that person again. I cannot be with a person I don’t like. Once I am done, I am done. Its curtains! Fahmaan also revealed that he’s an outdoor person and cannot imagine being locked inside the house for days. He loves freedom. Fahmaan feels that this wasn’t the right time for him to chose BB and thus his only focus right now on playing great characters entertain his fans with his performances. Fahmaan rejected BB doesn’t mean he’s not open to do any reality show in the future. Here’s the kind of shows he is keen to be part of. “I don’t know. Look, there are different kinds of reality shows. There is a Khatron Ke Khiladi, in which your physical and mental strength is put to test, and how much daredevilry you have in you. I would love to be a part of something like an American Ninja Warrior. I think that’s what I am made for. I am not the kind of person who can manipulate, who can play mind games, can work on bringing groups into each other and diving people. I am not that kind of a person. I am very simple,” He told the leading portal.
Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Fahmaan Khan is all set to lead Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming romantic drama ‘Pyaar Ke Saat Vachan Dharam Patni” on Colors Tv. He will be paired opposite Kritika Singh Yadav in the complicated tale of love story. The promo of the show has already left fans excited.
