The third wave of the novel coronavirus is rapidly increasing. Many Bollywood and Television celebrities have contracted the deadly virus. The recent celeb to have tested positive for Covid-19 is producer Ekta Kapoor.
She is currently under home quarantine. Ekta has asked all her friends and family, who met her recently, to get tested as well. Ekta Kapoor took to her official Instagram account today, January 3, to confirm that she has tested positive for Covid-19. She wrote a text note saying, “Despite taking all precautions I have tested Covid positive. I am fine and I request everyone who has come in contact with me to please test themselves (sic).”

Soon after she made the post, celebrities from the TV industry dropped their ‘get well soon’ messages, while asking her to take care. Surbhi Chandna, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Divya Agarwal, Sana Makbul, Ali Goni, Hina Khan and many others commented on Ekta’s post. Fans also wished for her ‘speedy recovery’. A day before testing positive for Covid, Ekta was seen hanging out with ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Lives’ star Neelam Kothari and a gang of girls. Sharing a post with them on Instagram, she had written, “My forever girls @neelamkotharisoni @sippypooja @shabskofficial”, along with evil eye and heart emoji.
