There have been rumours surfaced on internet that not all is well between Dilip Joshi and Raj Anadkat.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Team is currently shooting in Vapi till the time Maharashtra has imposed restrictions on shooting due to rising Covid cases in the state and the country. The TMKOC features a grand cast. But one thing all of them are well known for is their bonding. Be it the ‘Mahila Mandal’ including Munmun Dutta, Sunayana Fozdar or the Tapu Sena, the actors are said to be well-knit.
Recently, news surfaced that all is not well between Dilip Joshi and Raj Anadkat. While Dilip has been the lead on the show since it’s inception in 2008, Raj has only joined in 2017, replacing Bhavya Gandhi. The reason for the tiff between the two actors was reported to be Dilip taking issue with Raj’s punctuality.
There were reports which suggested that Raj was coming late to the set on a repetitive basis. After being patient for a day or two, Dilip finally reprimanded him for the unprofessional behaviour.
The Report in Koimoi.com quoted a source as saying, “Dilip Joshi is that the senior-most actor on sets. Despite working on Taarak Mehta for so many years, he makes sure to get on time. There’s never a delay or effect on the shoot due to him. But Raj recently kept him expecting an hour approximately. What irked him is the fact that it had been repeatedly happening. Dilip schooled him for being late on sets after the pattern was being repeated again and again. He has also unfollowed Raj on Instagram.”
Now, Dilip has responded on the allegations of conflict on TMKOC set with Raj. The actor in conversation with SpotboyE has denied the rumours. Apparently, the actor reacted by saying, “Absolutely rubbish. Who cooks up all these false stories?”
Raj Anadkat aka Tapu is yet to react to the matter.
Recently, Babita Ji aka Munmun Dutta from the show was booked for using casteist slur in her Vlog. The inappropriate word was uttered by Munmun during a make-up video on the social media. Since then, the clip has gone viral with many calling out the actor for the derogatory remark.
