Devoleena Bhattacharjee saw Sidharth’s mother and Shehnaaz Gill after his death and said that his mother is strong, while Shehnaaz would take time to come to terms.
The tragic death of Sidharth Shukla on September 2 came as a big shock to all of us. Actor’s rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill‘s situation could not be imagined, and all of his admirers and friends were heartbroken. When Sidharth died, all of his ‘Bigg Boss 13’ mates were present at his home and at the Oshiwara crematorium.
Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee recently spoke with ETimes about how distressed she was when she learned of the Sidharth’s unexpected death.
All of these events have shattered her, and the Saath Nibhaana Saathiya actress has lost faith in herself after hearing these news. She also believes that because life is brief, one should not hold grudges. Devoleena stated that she has grown as a person and that it was Sidharth’s Brahmakumaris prayer meet that transformed her perspective on life. She stated that Sidharth’s death hurt her heart, but she was moved when she heard the Brahmakumaris speak about Sidharth at the prayer meet organised for him. She said, “They said that soul is always there and it’s only the body that leaves us. And if you release it happily when he is born somewhere else, he will comeback happily. That’s the reason I pray for Sidharth’s soul. Main chahati hoon woh acche se wapas aaye. Devoleena added, “All my love to Shehnaaz. I am sure and I know it is not easy to come out of such a tragic incident and she will take some time to be normal. I just wish that she fulfills all those dreams that Sidharth saw for her. I really wish her luck and lots of love. When I went to meet her on the first day, I spoke to her. But it is not the right time to speak to her. Devoleena also shared how Sidharth’s mother gave her strength to release the emotions she had in her heart after losing her father and young brother, “I know this because I have gone through this emotions. I lost my father at a very young age, my young brother passed away in my arms. I know the pain and it doesn’t go away by talking or staying with someone. It takes time and goes away naturally and gradually. But I must say Rita aunty is very strong and because of her strength and the words she spoke about Sidharth, it gave me also strength. I have started looking at life differently. Her words helped me to release many emotions and find peace within. I had many emotions in my heart about my father, brother which I was not able to let go off. Jab Maine suna aunty ko ki jab aap soul ko happily jaane dete ho woh happily wapas aata hai… these words will stay with me for life long. It made a lot of difference to my life,” she said.
