Monika Bhadoriya reveals a probable reason why Disha Vakani is not returning to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
TV’s most popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is currently courting a lot of controversy. Since Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal aka Roshani Sodhi spoke out about the harassment she endured on set at the hands of Asit Kumarr Modi, Sohail Ramani, and Jatin Bajaj the show’s makers are facing a lot of criticism.
Disha Vakani quitting TMKOC has been one of the most talked about controversies related to the comedy TV show. There have been rumors time and again that the makers have been in conversation with the actress to return as Dayaben, however, the fans have not witnessed her comeback yet. Now, amid actors accusing the makers of delayed payments and abusive behaviour on the sets, Monika Bhadoriya, WHO PLAYED OLD BAWRI, has hinted that these can be the reasons why Disha Vakani quit TMKOC and never returned. Why Disha Vakani is not returning to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah?
While Monika did not reveal the reason, she claimed that Disha Vakani chose not to come back because she must have been hurt by something or not paid well. Monika told Bollywood Bubble, “I don’t want to comment on her. Maybe. Hoga…kuch toh aisa bura laga hi hoga. Aapko koi accha pay kar raha hai aur bula raha hai baar baar aap nahi aana chahte ho toh yehi reason honge na aur kya ho sakta hai.”
When the actress was questioned about the potential perpetrators of his torture during the same interview, she mentioned project director Sohail Ramani without batting an eye. The actress asserts that Ramani is extremely unprofessional and that no other project director could have been this awful at behaving. According to Monika, the ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ crew and artists are both capable of making mistakes. The actress added that Sohail frequently engages in violent altercations due to his inappropriate behaviour. Ramani is still in charge of the project, however the artist has already left the show, according to Monika, who declined to identify the artist.
