Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra is all set to hit theatres this Friday and thankfully, the buzz has really picked up. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the magnum opus is emerging as the winner, at least in advance bookings for day 1, despite all the odds on social media. The latest is that the film will break Bollywood’s highest opener of 2022 Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s record. Yes, you read that right.

As per News18 report, The advance booking sales for the film began a few days ago and the film has already sold over 2 lakh tickets. Producer and film business expert Girish Johar told the publication, that Brahmastra could witness a box office collection of Rs 23 to Rs 25 crore on day 1. India’s Biggest Theatre chains PVR and INOX have already revealed that they’ve respectively sold over 1 lakh tickets of Brahmastra in the advance booking stage. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared, “‘BRAHMĀSTRA’ ADVANCE BOOKING: FANTASTIC RESPONSE… #Brahmāstra advance booking status… *OFFICIAL STATEMENT* from #Inox… Expect a BIGGG START at the #BO.” He also revealed that INOX has sold over 1,25,000 tickets whereas PVR recorded over 2 lakh ticket sales on Thursday.

Meanwhile, A screening of Brahmastra will be held in the Oberoi Mall, Goregaon East, Mumbai on September 8, 2022, and that bookings for preview are open. To everyone’s surprise, the tickets were sold out within 4 minutes. The preview will be graced by Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji.
