Zeeshan said he doesn’t regret doing it. He says, “Number one, this is a game and everyone is here to play the game and go ahead. I would have felt bad or ditched that three-years of friendship, only if I had pressed the buzzer without consulting Urfi. We were not connecting that well and I wanted to give her a chance and see if this connection can really work. So when I walked up to her and said that I may press the buzzer, her reaction was ‘haan mujhe pata hai’, mujhe pata tha stage se hi tum ye karne waale ho’. So I was like, if you knew this from the beginning, then why did you choose me? It’s like am the only person who is trying to make it work and she isn’t giving a damn about it.”
“Since the game was so important to me, I didn’t want to continue with a weak connection. I felt my connection with Divya is better, so I pressed the buzzer for Divya,” concluded Zeeshan”.
Post his eviction, The actor was spotted in Mumbai by the paparazzi who asked him if he feels that Karan Johar was unfair to him for not allowing him to speak on ‘Sunday Ka Vaar’. He also addressed the question about his injury pictures which he had shared on his social media account after coming out of the house. Zeeshan Khan told the media, “The only thing I regret about that evening is, I should’ve been allowed to say my side of the story. But still, I have immense respect for Karan Johar sir. He was just doing his work as a host and I was doing my job as a contestant. The show format itself is so stressful that he must be also thinking a lot of things in his mind. It tests your patience but I am sure the janta must have seen my side.”
