Shamita Shetty’s age has become a huge topic inside the Bigg Boss OTT house. Some days back, we saw Akshara Singh and Urfi Javed age-shaming her. In fact, one of them coolly said that she was far older than her actual age of 42, and hinted that she might be 46-48. Akshara Singh and Urfi Javed said that she is old enough to be their mothers. It looks like the age-shaming of Shamita Shetty is not going to end soon.
A new clip has come where Akshara Singh, Milind Gaba, Pratik Sehajpal and Moose Jattana are discussing Shamita Shetty. Akshara Singh says the way she behaves with people is not like a mom should behave. They call her the mother of the house. Now, Akshara Singh is 27. Unfortunately, it doesn’t end here. Shamita has been subjected to a barrage of nasty comments on the show so far, one of which includes social media influencer, Muskan Jattana making fun of the Shetty family for the recent headline-making incidents. In one of the clips, Muskan said, “Shamita had left the Bigg Boss house earlier because of her sister’s wedding and now her sister will get divorced and she has come in the Bigg Boss house again.” Viewers have dissed her behaviour as “insensitive”.
Previously, Bigg Boss winners Sidharth Shukla and Shilpa Shinde were also subjected to age-shaming in the house by fellow contestants. The biggest reality and most controversial show has somehow approved of this age-shaming culture over the years, and it’s unfortunate.
