According to a report by Telecom Talk, Vodafone-Idea, like Airtel, has reduced the Amazon Prime subscription available in their postpaid plans from one year to six months. This major change in the company’s postpaid plan is effective April 1.

The consolation is that apart from the Amazon Prime subscription, the company has not made any changes to the other benefits available in the plan. Amazon has increased its prime membership fee. Amazon had a few months ago increased the annual membership fee from Rs 999 to Rs 1499. To cope with this price increase, Vi has reduced the validity of 1 year free prime membership for users to 6 months in their postpaid plans. Despite the increase in the price of Amazon Prime, Reliance Jio has not yet made any changes in its postpaid plan. The company is still offering a one-year free membership of Amazon Prime. It is speculated that the company may make changes to its plans like Vi in the near future.
