Asim was rumoured to be part of mega Bollywood project after his stint inside Bigg Boss 13 house and many publications confirmed the news reporting the actor bagged a key role in a movie. Speaking of which, Asim has shared a update on this and claimed that those were ‘fake promises’ and his name has been ‘used’ to hype the project.
Asim Riaz shared a cryptic post on Thursday to slam a celebrity from the industry who made fake promises to his father. He revealed his father was lured into a movie project. Asim’s tweet read, “My Father was promised a movie project from an influential personality from the industry. More than 1 year they used my name for the hype of the project, all the big media publications spoke about it and confirmed it, all i want to say is all the fake promises won’t make me feel down. Asim Riaz Ousted From Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali?
For the unversed, Asim Riaz was rumoured to be a finalized name for Salman Khan’s Bhaijaan (Then ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali‘). The actor was reportedly had a Salman’s brother role in the film which eventually moved to other actor.
Well, fans are wondering if he actually took dig at superstar Salman Khan for replacing him with other actor.
Talking about KEKD, Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film also stars Zaheer Iqbal, Punjabi actress Shehnaaz Gill, Dancer-host Raghav Juyal and south actor Venkatesh Daggubati. Salman`s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma was also a part of the film. However, he reportedly walked out of the project due to unknown reasons.
