Archana Gautam is admired for her bold style. After showcasing her brilliance in Bigg Boss 16, she is now making waves in Colors TV’s adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. Archana faced mockery for her English during her time in the Bigg Boss house. In an interview with TV9 Bharatvarsh, she stated, “I don’t need to learn English. I take pride in speaking Hindi.”
Archana Gautam On People Bullying Her For Not Knowing English
Archana recounted how, upon arriving in Mumbai, several girls made fun of her English. She said, “I have been targeted many times because I don’t know English. I have faced many challenges due to the language, but now many people know that I don’t understand English. Still, when people speak to me in English, and I tell them I don’t understand it, and would they speak in Hindi? They look at me as if I’ve done something unbelievable.”
Further, Archana Gautam expressed, “I want to convey that if you live in India, and if someone doesn’t understand English, you should speak to them in Hindi. You can have your style, but don’t look down upon those who don’t know Hindi. It’s just a language. Maybe I don’t know English today, but I will learn. She continued, “I take pride in speaking Hindi. Everyone should promote their mother tongue rather than English. Hindi is our nation’s strength. We need to remove the trend of English fashion that’s spreading across India.
