Akshay Kumar jets off to London with his family to resume the shoot of his next film.
The last few days have been quite difficult for actor Akshay Kumar and his family ever since the unfortunate demise of his mother. Akshay was earlier shooting in London and had to leave shoot midway to return to India to be with his ailing mother.
It was a heartbreaking sight to see him at the funeral all numb and in pain. But finally after wrapping up everything in India, like a thorough professional that he has always been, Akshay has resumed work and hence was spotted today jetting off to London at the private airport. Akshay’s mom Aruna Bhatia passed away on Wednesday. The actor took to his social media to inform the fans. He tweeted, ”She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti”.
Yesterday, he shared a throwback photo with his mom and wrote, ”Would have never liked it this way but am sure mom is singing Happy Birthday to me from right up there! Thanks to each one of you for your condolences and wishes alike. Life goes on”
On the professional front, he will be seen next in ‘Raksha Bandhan’ with Bhumi Pednekar, ‘Bachchan Pandey’ co-starring Kriti Sanon and ‘Atrangi Re’ alongside Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan. He was last seen in Bell Bottom starring Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi.
