Akash Thosar will be seen in another Nagraj Manjule directorial Ghar Banduk Biryani and fans will get to see him in a new look.
Akash Thosar is an actor who has reached every household with his movie Sairat. He made his debut in the entertainment industry with the movie Sairat which was released in 2016. He came into limelight as his first film was a super blockbuster. His role as a Parshya in that film was highly liked by audience. His fans still know him as Parshya. But he wanted to become a policeman instead of working in cinema. Aakash revealed this in Loksatta Digital Adda.
Thosar is currently in the limelight for his upcoming film Ghar Banduk Biryani. The team of the film ‘Ghar Banduk Biryani’ attended the Loksatta Digital Adda. Akash said, “I still feel like it’s all a dream. I never thought I would grow up to be an actor or appear on TV. My dream was also very small. A child from a middle-class family thinks that he wants to grow up to become a police officer and buy a house for his parents. I felt the same way.”
How Akash Thosar Got Sairat Movie
“After class 10, I went to audition. Nagraj Manjule sir’s brother saw me there. After that he cast me in the film. My life before and after Sairat is very different. I never thought that something like this would happen in the future. I had gone for police recruitment twice before Sairat. It was my dream to become a policeman. The movie Ghar Banduk Biryani will release on April 8 and is directed by Hemant Avatade. The film also stars Sayali Patil and Sayaji Shinde in lead roles. Nagraj Manjule will be seen playing the role of a Dabangg police officer in the film.
