With the gleam of lights and echo of the chants, the makers of ‘Adipurush’ released the glorious poster of the much-awaited film on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. The poster depicts Prabhas as Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Shesh, and Devdatta Nage bowing down to them as Bajrang. The film carries forward the virtue of Prabhu Shri Ram that entails dharma, courage and sacrifice with its elegant poster.
As we know Adipurush team has been receiving a lot of flake ever since they dropped the first poster and teaser of the film last year. With unveiling of the new poster, many netizens have once again taken the diretor and producers to the corner and called it out for its VFX.

Adipurush New Poster has sparked a meme fest on social media and not onlu this netizens are even calling out the makers for the wrong ‘casting’ of the film. While some feel Prabhas doesn’t even look like Shri Ram they have even tagged him a ‘Ravan’ as he looks better in that role.
On the new poster of the film shared on twitter, one fan commented, “Prabhas in this look would have been a perfect ravan than ram. He looks more ravan than that KTM riding chappri with side fade cut”. Another commented, “Hanuman ko muslim, Ram ko Ravan bana diya… ye movie toh mein download karke bhi na dekhu.”. Third user tweeted, “Seems like They are giving Tribute to Ravana on occasion of Ram Navami”.
While some are commenting on Prabhas’s Shri Ram look. One commented, “There is no photos and sculptures of shree ram where the moustache is shown then why director and writer showing shree ram with moustache ??”. Another tweets, “Prabhas ke badle wo pass khada hai na use Shri Ram banana chaiye tha prabhas to Shri Ram jaise dikh bhi nahi rahe prabhas ko cast karne se pehle cast director ne aakho pe patti bandh rakhi thi prabhas looking like raavan”. Devdatta Nage, who’s portraying Shir Hanuman Ji in the movie also is facing backlash for his look in the film.
“Prabhas doesn’t look like Shri Ram at all, He looks like Bhojpuri Actor here”. wrote another.
Adipurush New poster became the fasted Indian movie poster to reach 1M likes on Instagram within a span of 3.5 hours. Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and the official handle of the movie shared the poster, but the post by Prabhas has reached over 1.3 Million likes*. However, as many have spiritual peace upon watching the poster, some of them are not really happy!

Filmmaker Om Raut’s magnum opus “Adipurush” will arrive in theatres in 3D on June 16, 2023, the makers announced Tuesday.
