Abhishek Bachchan: “I felt it was my mistake that I came into the industry”

Abhishek Bachchan in a recent interview revealed that he felt he wasn’t made for the industry after a string of flops and continuous negative response for his acting.

In spite of hailing from the Bachchan family and giving some memorable and power-packed performances in movies like Guru, it had been never easy for Abhishek Bachchan to carve a distinct segment for himself within the Indian movie industry. He had to face tons of challenges as far as his Bollywood career cares. The actor has also confessed that he reached some extent where he almost gave up on his acting career and thought he wasn’t made for it.

Yes, you read that right! Abhishek had made up his mind of abandoning on Bollywood. it had been during the initial phase when the actor had delivered multiple flops. Also, he had to pay an enormous price for being the son of a legend, Amitabh Bachchan. due to all such failure and comparisons, Abhishek was close to end his filmy career.

While chatting with Siddharth Kanan, Abhishek Bachchan said, “To fail on a public platform is extremely difficult. There was no social media some time past, but I read compromise that some were abusing me while some said that I don’t know acting. At one point in time, I felt it had been my mistake that I came into the industry as whatsoever i used to be trying, it had been not working. I went to my dad and said maybe I am not made for this industry.”

At this, Big B’s inspiring words boosted his morale and lent him a fresh perspective. “I never brought you up to be quitter,” Big B advised Abishek, adding that an individual has got to awaken every morning and fight for his or her place under the sun. Reportedly, Amitabh also suggested Abhishek to grab every project coming his way and specialise in delivering his best to each role he takes up.

Following his father’s advice, the actor has managed to try to to extremely well to further his career with some spectacular movies like Ludo and Breathe: Into the Shadows. By giving some amazing performances within the year 2020, the actor has proven his acting skills and flexibility.
