Kalki 2898 AD is directed by Nag Ashwin, known for his successful films like Mahanati and Yevade Subramanyam. The film has been generating buzz since its initial announcement in 2020 under the working title ‘Project K’, with Prabhas in the lead role. Later, the film added powerhouse talents like Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Kamal Haasan, and, of course, Amitabh Bachchan to its ensemble.
