Alia Bhatt Exit From Ramayana: Makers wanted to make this Ramayana with real visual effects and not using motion capture technology.
Despite recent mythology film flops, producers remain undeterred in their pursuit of such projects. Madhu Manthena, a prominent Bollywood producer, is now set to embark on a grand three-part Ramayana movie, with Ranbir Kapoor slated to play Lord Rama. While initial reports suggested Alia Bhatt as Sita and Yash of ‘KGF’ fame as Ravana, it appears that Alia Bhatt has declined the offer, raising questions among fans.
Alia Bhatt Exit From Ramayana
The primary reason behind Alia’s decision to reject this timeless epic seems to be her jam-packed schedule, leaving no room for adjustments to accommodate ‘Ramayana.’ Even the persuasive efforts of directors Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyavar failed to sway her. On the flip side, Yash seems less inclined to join the project. Also Read: Vivek Agnihotri ‘Believes SRK Has Destroyed The True Essence Of Bollywood’. Do You Agree?
Nevertheless, the filmmakers are resolute about creating a spectacular Ramayana adaptation, investing a substantial sum, eschewing motion capture technology in favor of genuine visual effects. With Alia Bhatt out of the picture, the project’s casting spotlight is now on Mrunal Thakur and Kiara Advani for the pivotal role of Sita.
