Heena Panchal, who was one of the contestants in Bigg Boss Marathi, was arrested on Sunday in Igatpuri after Nashik police conducted a raid at a rave party.
Former contestant at the reality show Bigg Boss Marathi Heena Panchal has been arrested by the police. Police had raided a high profile rave party at Igatpuri in Nashik. A total of 22 persons were found consuming drugs, cocaine and marijuana. It consisted of 10 men and 12 women. Those arrested include six models and actresses, most of whom have worked in various web series. There were also two choreographers and one model of Iranian origin.
Heena Panchal had participated in the second season of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss Marathi’ as a wild card entry. But her journey was over before the final round. Heena Panchal has acted in some films like Hookah, Mohalla, Bebo Bebo, Raju 0 Raju, Bogan. She has also acted in ‘Item Songs’ in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu films.
Nashik Superintendent of Police Sachin Patil got confidential information that a group of 22 high-profile persons, including four women belonging to Bollywood, were having a party in two private bungalows around midnight on Saturday. Police raided and arrested all of them around 2:30 am on Sunday. The police arrested all the people present there and brought them to Igatpuri police station.
Report says two villas, Sky Taj Villa and Sky Lagoon Villa were raided by police where birthday party of Mumbai resident Piyush Sethia was happening. The accused have been charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. A Nigerian national has also been arrested in Mumbai for questioning in the same case.
While talking to the publication, superintendent of Police Nashik Rural Police, Sachin Patil was quoted saying, “Heena along with others were arrested on Sunday will be produced in court today.” When Sachin was asked if she (Heena) had consumed drugs, he said the blood samples of the actress and other accused have been taken and “We are awaiting the reports.”
In a statement given to ANI, Sachin mentioned: “22 persons including 12 women were arrested and several types of drugs were seized from their possession after the police busted an alleged rave party at a private bungalow in Igatpuri hill station of Nashik District of Maharashtra. All have been taken into custody and further investigation is on, during the initial investigation, it has been found that out of 12 women, 5-6 women were actresses working in Bollywood and South Indian films.
