The show remains on the target of people on social media because of many reasons. one of the reasons is the overreaction of the judges during the episode. Now another time, the Indian Idol 12 judges are on the target of the people. People say that the judges forcefully over-react to the small talk of the contestants.
The judges have made the show a drama show without stopping, being emotional, and creating an environment of coercion. Also, people are now enjoying the judges. Meanwhile, with Mumbai under lockdown, the shoot of Indian Idol 12 was shifted to Daman. Judges Neha and Vishal also went missing while lyricist Manoj Muntashir and Anu Malik took their place. Vishal Dadlani even claimed that he will not return to the show until the lockdown is lifted. Vishal Dadlani told ETimes that he lives with his parents and doesn’t want to take a risk with their health. He said he won’t return, “Not till the quasi lockdown is done with.”
Talking about this season, there are currently 8 contestants left in the show. These include Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Shanmukh Priya, Sayli Kamble, Sawai Bhat, Mohammad Danish, Ashish Kulkarni and Nihal Taro. Classical singer Anjali Gaikwad was eliminated two weeks back within the show. This elimination also got into tons of controversy on social media. People had alleged that the makers had thrown out Anjali to save Shanmukh Priya.
