Arrti Singh took to her Instagram to share pictures of her as she received her first COVID-19 vaccine jab. However, little did she know that she would face severe backlash thanks to the photographs on social media.
Bigg Boss 13 fame Arti Singh received the first shot of COVID-19 on May 11. The actress took to her social media account to share pictures of her while getting jabbed. The black and white pictures posted by the actress show Arti Singh, who is frightened of needles. The photos see the actress hesitating while taking the shot, and therefore the nurse helping and comforting her. Arti made the post on her Instagram and spoke about her fear of injections too.
Sharing the photos on Instagram, Arti wrote, “Scared of injections but do takeeeeeee it … we’d like to fight this ….. first dose done @rahulnarainkanal thank uuu for making it happen …. @my_bmc thank u.” The actress urged everyone to urge themselves vaccinated first, albeit they’re frightened with injections.

However, little did she know that the photographs would land her up in a mess. As soon as Arti dropped the post, it didn’t go down well with a section of people . Netizens trolled Arrti for being frightened of injections but not being frightened of getting tattooed.
Reacting to the post, one social media user wrote, “Tattoo karwate waqt nahi pain hua aapko… Overacting ki dukaan.” Meanwhile, another user indirectly acknowledged at Arrti’s expressions and wrote, “arti injection lag raha tha ,kutta thodi katt raha tha.” Another wrote, “Weren’t you scared while having that bog tattoo on your hand???? OVERACTING KI DUKKAN”. A third user commented, “Overacting keliye kitne paise mile apko…..Wahan logon ko Vaccine keliye Slot nahi mil raha aur app log yahan bakchodi kar rahe ho…. Tattoo banate waqt kuch nahi hua par Vaccine lagwane keliye dard ho raha hai …..m.”
Recently, Television actress Asha Negi had taken potshot at celebrities who make a big deal about posing for videos and pictures while getting vaccinated. “To all the actors who are uploading their vaccination videos… yaar awareness ke liye thik hai but please itni overacting mat kiya karo, bohot annoying ho jaata hai (buddy, spreading awareness is a good thing but please cut down on the overacting, it gets annoying)!” Asha said in a note she posted on Instagram.
The Baarish actress further in her caption to the post took witty dig, “Please yaar! Aur haan log pooch rahe hain videographer khud le ja rahe ho ya hospital is providing (people wonder if you took the videographer along or if the hospital provided one)?”she wrote.
