Actress Amruta Khanvilkar is currently in the news for her latest release ‘Chandramukhi’. The film is getting good response from the audience and it reflects in Box office numbers.
Recently, the actress took to her Instagram handle to share a series of pictures from her latest clicks. In the pictures, we can see Amruta posing in her stunning black khaddi chiffon saree. She paired the saree with a matching black blouse. Chandramukhi’s release was preceded by high-level promotions, including unveiling an aircraft with a poster of the movie on it, a first for a Marathi film. Its box office collections were also significantly higher for a Marathi film. Talking about the success of the movie, Prasad Oak said that the response had been very encouraging and he wondered if Chandramukhi would start a new era in this industry.

‘Chandramukhi’ is adapted from author Vishwas Patil’s Marathi novel of the same name. It also stars Mrunmayee Deshpande, Dr.Mohan Agashe and Rajendra Shisatkar in pivotal roles.
Amruta is known for playing the simple and demure Munira in Raazi, a serial killer Lovina in web series Damaged and a happy-go-lucky girl in the John Abraham starrer Satyamev Jayate. She has also done shows such as Time Bomb 9/11 and 24. The actress was also part of Khatron Ke Khiladi season 10.
