Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s elder son Aryan Khan’s bail application was rejected by the magistrate on Friday. And ahead of yet another bail application, Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans have come out in support of Aryan, SRK and his family.
Aryan Khan’s bail plea hearing in the sessions court will take place today. An application was filed by Aryan‘s legal team on Friday, reports state. And ahead of the bail plea hearing, the fans of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput gathered outside SRK’s sea-facing bungalow, Mannat. They have extended their support to the actor and his family in these tough times. SSR idolised Shah Rukh Khan. He indeed loved him dearly and was inspired by him. Sushant would praise the lion actor whenever he got a chance, be it in interviews or at events.
Apart from Shah Rukh Khan’s fraternity members, including Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, Farah Khan, Raveena Tandon, fans too have come forward to extend support to the Khan family in this turbulent phase.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer Vikas Singh spoke to ETimes and said whatever is happening with Aryan Khan is ‘not fair.’ “This entire law (NDPS – Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act) is possession-based, and quantity of possession becomes the sentence. “Aryan was neither found with possession nor was he a supplier. He is, at best a consumer. And calling him a consumer is also debatable because there is nothing found in his hair follicle until now. Talking about Aryan Khan’s arrest, for those not in the know, the star kid was nabbed by the NCB officials on a Mumbai to Goa bound cruise ship in a drug bust. He had been in custody ever since. He reportedly confessed to taking drugs but denied involvement in the peddling of the illegal substance. He has been charged with offences under Section 8 (c), 20(b), 27, 28, 29 and 35 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
Last year after Sushant’s sudden demise, SRK had shared a happy picture with him on social media. Along with the picture, the superstar had penned an emotional note too. His post read, “He loved me so much…I will miss him so much. His energy, enthusiasm and his full happy smile. May Allah bless his soul and my condolences to his near and dear ones. This is extremely sad….and so shocking!!”
Meanwhile, Aryan is currently in 14-day judicial custody. He is at Arthur Road Jail. His lawyer has applied for his bail and the application will be heard today in Mumbai Sessions Court. Apart from Aryan, his friend Arbaaz Merchant and model Munmun Dhamecha are also in judicial custody.
