Bigg Boss, considered the biggest reality show on Indian television, is all set to return with a new twist. The makers have promised to entertain the viewers with drama-packed episodes in ‘Bigg Boss OTT’, which will exclusively stream 24/7 on VOOT Select. Bollywood Filmmaker Karan Johar will be hosting the season on OTT. The show will premiere on August 8, and Hpst Karan is all packed up for the season as it’s his dream come true. Yes, The director revealed that he is an avid Bigg Boss viewer and love to watch the drama and entertaining episodes everyday.
As we all know Karan Johar has announced last month about directing a movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which was supposed to begin its shoot in early august has postponed due to Bigg Boss OTT.
Last month, he had announced his next directorial on social media. “Thrilled to get behind the lens with my favourite people in front of it! Presenting Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, headlined by none other than Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan & Sumit Roy,” the filmmaker wrote on Twitter. Soon after it was also revealed that KJO will host Bigg Boss OTT, which premiers from Sunday.
Now according to latest report in Pinkvilla, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director will focus on both the projects simultaneously.

A source close to development tells portal, “While Bigg Boss OTT starts from Sunday and will go on till September-mid, Karan will also start shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer and Alia from this month. He is aiming to begin that from August-end, and will juggle the same with Bigg Boss OTT around the same time. He is really excited for both these projects,”
As of now, reportedly the confirmed contestants list for Bigg Boss OTT include, Neha Bhasin, Karan Nath, Nishant Bhat, Ridhima Pandit, Urfi Javed, Divya Agarwal, Raqesh Bapat, Millind Gaba and Zeeshan Khan, among a few others.
