Kangana Ranaut recently took to her Instagram story to mourn the loss of one of her fans, Dr Deepa Sharma, who passed away in the recent Himachal Pradesh landslide. The Dhaakad actress wrote, “come back soon please.”
Yesterday, in Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district’s landslide, 9 tourists passed away. Amongst these nine tourists, one was a big fan of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and upon hearing this tragic news, the actress took to social media to mourn her demise. Dr Deepa Sharma, the said fan, a day before her unfortunate demise had shared a couple of happy photos from the said location.
Sharing those photos on Instagram, Kangana wrote: “She was a great fan, she sent me lovely letters and showered me with gifts and also visited my house in Manali… Oh!!! Seems like a big jolt…This is beyond tragic…. Oh God!!!”
In another story, Kangana shared a picture of her fan who died in himachal pradesh landslide and wrote, “I still remember i was in jaipur filming for manikarnika and many fans waited in my hotel lobby, i paid no heed to the crowd but she saw me and screamed she gave me no time and hugged me tight “
In her last instagram story, paying her fan tribute kangana wrote, “My condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Deepa Sharma, you will be in my heart come back again please”
Apart from Kangana, The Dhaakad filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri also mourned her demise and offered condolences to her bereaved family. His tweet reads: “OMG. Can’t believe that Deepa is no more. I have been told that she died in a landslide today. Till 8hrs ago she was sending photos from Himalayas. Such a lively, aware person. Have no words. May God give her family strength. Prayers. ॐ शांति (Om Shanti)।” He retweeted Dr Deepa’s post from March 2020 when he met her and she shared a photo with him online.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana is awaiting the release of her political biopic, Thalaivi, based on the life of former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha. She also has Dhaakad in the pipeline and she’s currently shooting for the film. Kangana will also be seen in Tejas, set to be directed by Sarvesh Mewara.
