News channel BBC has released a three-part investigative series on actor Jiah Khan’s death titled Death in Bollywood. The series has been released only in the UK and has three episodes. The first episode dropped on January 11 followed by the next two episodes over the next two days. The investigation documentry dives into the actress’ demise case and the various theories that cropped up during the course of the investigation.
For the unversed, Jiah Khan had made her debut opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Gopal Varma’s Nishabd in 2007.Jiah had also co-starred with Aamir Khan in Ghajini (2008). The actress was found dead at her residence in Mumbai’s Juhu suburb in 2013. Mumbai Police and subsequent CBI investigations had declared it death by suicide. However, Jiah’s mother commissioned a legal case review from a British law firm which concluded that there were faults in the investigations.

The documentry throws light on details of the case, Jiah’s mother’s strive for justice, unanswered questions and also features the Pancholi’s. The series impacted many netizens as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the same. Sooraj Pancholi, who was first touted to be the prime suspect in the case, also faced flak on Twitter.
